Role: Project Manager
Salary: GBP 42,000 : GBP 52,000 per annum
Type: Permanent
Location: Surrey
My client designs, manufactures and services electro:mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Project Manager for a new projects team, on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area.
The Project Manager Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes
: BEng/ BSc qualification or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
: Approx. 4 or more years of experience in other Project Engineer / Project Manager roles in engineering and manufacturing environments
: Previous experience working in a product environment (mechanical, software, hardware, service etc.)
: Prince2, PMI or APM qualification would be desirable but not essential
: The ability to work within a multi:disciplinary team
: Excellent proficiency working with MS Office
: Have excellent communication skills
The Project Manager Role Will Involve
: Being involved in high:impact projects
: Being responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of these projects
: Always having a risk controlled approach
: Making sure they're delivered on:time and in budget
: Driving continuous improvement
: Adhering to governance standards and frameworks
: Ensuring projects meet project plans
: Supporting with project planning
: Developing project documentation and also financial tracking
