Reporting to the Senior Director, the Animal Safety Portfolio Manager will support the business function to achieve its goals and targets. The Portfolio Manager will possess a high level of marketing competency and use their wider portfolio experience to guide and direct a team of 3 marketeers and 4 product managers.

What you’ll be doing:
* Directs the development of company market requirements for specific Animal Safety product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
* Monitors the development of product and sales plans, assesses market penetration, and product strategy and positioning to drive competitive advantage, market share and revenue.
* Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
* Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to your team, manufacturing, and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
* Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
About You:
* The successful candidate must have a proven track record within Product Marketing and have responsibility for managing people in addition to product responsibility.
* Degree educated in a marketing discipline or Masters degree in business is preferable.
* Strong organisational skills and clear communication.
* Strategic thinker and influencer. Ability to work cross-functionally to support and direct others achieving business-driven goals.
* Demonstrate ability to evolve in a fast-changing market environment.
* Ideally from an animal sciences environment.
