The post holder will work to ensure that young people with care experience are empowered and supported to have their voices heard and to become champions for positive change. You will work directly with young people as part of the Champions Board development and work to facilitate care experience young people’s involvement in Champions Board activities. You will represent the voice of the Champions Board and be a member of The Promise Board chaired be the chief executive of the council As a member of the Children and Families Social Work resources in partnership with other services and agencies, you will support and offer challenge to the development of practice and culture of how we can improve the lives of our care experienced population. You will also play a key role in supporting the wider aspirations of the Independent Care Review “Keeping the Promise” to children, young people and their families in South Lanarkshire.
