We are on the hunt for a consultative, approachable, and driven sales professional to cover the Greater London patch (inside the M25) for a well regarded European manufacturer of playground equipment into Local Authorities, Parish Councils, Landscape Architects, and the education sector. Working in the field, this Area Sales Manager role isn't your typical 9-5 job. Some days you'll be meeting Parish Councils at their meetings in the evening, or you may be on site early measuring up with a contractor to ensure your specification is bang on ready for tender. This role will suit someone who is adaptable, organised, and ultimately passionate about changing their communities for the better.
The great thing here is that the role has come about due to a retiree at the end of this calendar year, as such you will be working in tandem with an vastly experienced individual to ensure a fantastic area hand over, a solid pipeline, and the best possible start for you in the role. With that will come a very strong second year earning potential as you take new projects through to completion whilst learning on the job in the first year. A typical sales cycle can be 6-12 months, sometimes more, so this role will need someone who is patient, organised, and brilliant at building long-term relationships with their clients.
Requirements: To be considered for the Area Sales Manager role you must:
· Have a demonstrable track record in B2B sales
· A consultative sales process with Local Authorities, Parish Councils, Schools, or Landscaping businesses
· Be a natural relationship builder
· Have an understanding of sales methodologies & activity metrics
· Coming from a construction sales process is an advantage
· Be an effective communicator & negotiator

The Package for Area Sales Manager is:
· Basic: up to £42,000 DOE
· OTE = £65k+ uncapped, by Year 2
· Benefits: 24 days holiday + birthday off (25 + bank holidays), Pension (5% matched), healthcare, Company car (hybrid options)
