The Insurance Asset Management team provides innovative solutions for life, health, property and casualty and reinsurance companies. The Insurance Asset Management team is responsible for selling a broad spectrum of products across all asset classes, including private credit, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, public fixed income and public equities. In addition, the Insurance Asset Management team collaborates with clients on topics, including asset allocation, risk budgeting and asset / liability management. Globally focused, our Insurance Asset Management team manages general account insurance assets for clients across Europe, North America, Bermuda, Asia and the Middle East.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Vice Presidents are responsible for generating new sales and maintaining relationships with insurance companies across the UK.
1. Create and execute a business plan for each insurance company you cover.
2. Establish, maintain and grow relationships with leading insurance company decision makers.
3. Develop a complete understanding of Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s product suite and value proposition, which includes market insights and value-added content to deliver the firm when engaging with clients.
4. Coordinate with key stakeholders across Goldman Sachs Asset Management, including Portfolio Managers, Investment Strategists, Legal, Operations and Compliance with a common goal of meeting clients’ needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5. 7+ years of work experience in asset management or capital markets, preferred
6. Knowledge of, and passion for, asset management and capital markets
7. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
8. Strong knowledge and appreciation for the regulatory environment insurance companies operate in
9. Positive attitude and strong work ethic
10. Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others
11. Strong written and oral communication skills
12. Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
13. Undergraduate degree in business or finance related studies, preferred
14. Registrations required or obtained within 3 months of joining
