This warm and cohesive Primary School in Wythenshawe (m22) are seeking a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant high in both energy and empathy, and keen to make a positive impact to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged students, to join their dedicated Inclusion Team as soon as possible.
SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Benefits:

SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant – The Role:
10. Primary provision located in Wythenshawe
11. A multifaceted role encompassing a wide range of responsibilities, from assisting with academic assignments to providing emotional support and fostering social interaction
12. To work closely with an inspirational inclusion unit and collaborate with teachers to ensure essential emotional and academic progress
13. To tailor your support to the idiosyncratic requirements of every student amongst the provision’s diverse cohort
14. To plan and lead sessions to pupils with various barriers to their learning
15. Sociable hours of 0830 – 1530 weekdays (no weekends)

SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Pre-Requisites:
17. High-calibre Degree from an elite British University (ideally Psychology-related)
18. Prior experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
19. Empathetic disposition and collaborative attitude
20. Experience with children or vulnerable adults advantageous
21. Passion in education and in the emotional progression of young people in crucial stages of development
