Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Delivery Station Manager to oversee the daily operations and team performance at one of our delivery stations. This role is key to ensuring seamless last-mile delivery execution, employee engagement, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills with proven leadership capabilities to manage staff, drive KPIs, and build a positive, high-performing team culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full scope of delivery station operations, including planning, resource allocation, and execution of last-mile activities.
* Build and maintain a strong, motivated, and capable team by implementing effective recruitment, selection, training, and performance management practices.
* Conduct daily briefings to align team members with operational goals and reinforce JD Logistics' culture and values.
* Ensure optimal staffing levels and station capacity to meet fluctuating demand.
* Foster a collaborative and productive working environment that emphasizes accountability, recognition, and team development.
* Monitor and report on key operational metrics to drive continuous improvement in efficiency, delivery speed, and customer satisfaction.
* Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks or service issues quickly and effectively.
* Ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality standards throughout the delivery station.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including transportation, HR, and customer service to achieve business targets.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, preferably with a focus on last-mile delivery.
* Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams in a high-paced environment.
* Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead through influence and build a positive team culture aligned with company values.
* Results-oriented, with experience in using data and KPIs to drive decisions.
* Proficiency in logistics management systems and basic office software.
* Mandarin language skills are highly beneficial for coordination across regional teams.
Preferred Experience
* Background in e-commerce logistics or courier/delivery services.
* Familiarity with delivery management platforms and routing optimization tools.
