Senior External Operations Manager
Job Purpose
BHID Group Ltd is now the UK’s leading home interiors specialist, and the ‘go‑to’ brand for high end clients who are looking to furnish any area of the home. The business comprises three brands, Neville Johnson Furniture and Stairs, Tom Howley Kitchens and London Door Company and employs in excess of 550 employees. The London Door Company is the Group’s latest acquisition and offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior External Operations Manager to put their stamp on what will be a rapidly growing business.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and developing the external functions including field installation managers / surveyors and fitters.
* Recruitment and training of fitters congruent with company standards.
* Attending research and development meetings either at Head Office or via Teams.
* Liaising with Head Office Group function.
* Working to agreed Group budgets and KPIs.
* Health & Safety compliance.
Measures of Success / KPIs
* A proven career in a senior operations role.
* A proven track record in successful team building.
* The ability to manage ‘hands‑on’ an end‑to‑end process from manufacture to final installation.
* Excellent communication skills.
