A Public Sector organisation is seeking a Business Support Co-ordinator to join its Health & Wellbeing team. This organisation plays a vital role in supporting individuals affected by trauma, and this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Your new role
Reporting to the Health & Wellbeing Case Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating client access to services, ensuring efficient call handling, and delivering a positive client experience. You will act as a key point of contact for both clients and internal teams, managing sensitive information with professionalism and empathy.
Key responsibilities include:
•Engaging with vulnerable individuals and coordinating access to support services.
•Acting as an escalation point for client and stakeholder queries.
•Monitoring performance against KPIs and issuing reports to external bodies.
•Ensuring timely and accuratemunication with clients.
•Overseeing records management in line with organisational policies.
•Supporting and guiding administrative staff, including induction and training.
•Liaising with internal teams to resolve client-related issues.
•Managing client expectations around funding and eligibility.
What you'll need to succeed
1. 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in the following areas: • Effectively managingplex client interactions (face-to-face/telephone) includingplaints. • Processing high volumes of information in line with office policies and procedures. • Effectively working in a team environment. • Monitoring budgets in line with business contracts. • Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite (including Word, Excel and Access) in a business context
3. A minimum of 1 year’s practical experience of line management of staff.
