Responsibilities
* Provide an exceptional service to clients and the best care possible to their pets.
* Build strong relationships with clients, their pets and the practice team.
* Ensure client satisfaction during visits and confirm they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
* Greet clients and offer support, guidance and expertise.
* Manage payments and future bookings confidently.
* Coordinate the day-to-day routines of the practice using our online booking system (computer literacy is required).
About the role
The role is part time at 27.5 hours per week, primarily split over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. Additional hours may be required for holiday or absence cover. Flexibility to cover holiday hours is advantageous.
The practice is based in Gamston District Centre, with easy access to the A52 and local amenities and public transport links.
Qualifications and attributes
* You are the friendly and welcoming face for the client and their pets, able to provide guidance by staying up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available.
* You are calm, attentive and focused on the clients\' needs.
* You bring enthusiasm and drive to your role, with a passion for service and a love of pets.
* You can handle various situations, from comforting clients who have received bad news to sharing in the joy of a new puppy\'s first visit to the vet.
* Your personality helps create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere with colleagues and clients.
* You enjoy staying busy, helping people and loving pets, and strive to make a difference.
