Your experience in any industry is valuable to us here at Southern Water. Joining us gives you the opportunity to earn a great initial salary package starting at £26,721. You will be part of frontline operation at our Hampshire Reservoir and Booster sites, ensuring essential functions at our water supply sites operate and maintain supply to our customers and protect the environment. Work is generated on a weekly basis and you will manage your own time, giving you freedom and flexibility to design your own working week.
You’ll also find that joining us can prepare you well for future roles across the business, with many team members progressing to management or technical roles.
In this role you will undertake:
* Site hygiene in line with regulatory obligations
* Compliance testing
* Monitoring, collating and reporting data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
* Fault finding and problem‑solving skills to respond to breakdowns
You will be:
* Comfortable working outdoors, potentially in all weather conditions
* Part of a team that delivers excellent performance by understanding how you affect the overall mission of Southern Water
* Good technical knowledge and skills
* Adaptable, flexible, patient, reliable and self‑motivated
* Good at time management
* Confident working effectively and efficiently on your own and as part of a team
* Keen to learn and operate complex processes with high quality controls
Qualifications
* Valid UK driver’s licence is essential
