Mobile Vehicle Technician – Derby
Hourly Rate: £18.58 (£38,652 per year)
Overtime: £27.87 per hour after 40 hours
Example: Work 45 hours per week and earn £45,800+
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm + 1 in 4 Saturdays (with a weekday off)

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers who need help on the road. Your responsibilities include:
• Diagnosing faults and advising customers clearly and confidently
• Carrying out servicing, general maintenance, electrical work, and diagnostics
• Ensuring vehicles are repaired roadside where possible
• Delivering outstanding customer service — you’re the face of the business
Every day brings something different, and you’ll have the autonomy to manage your workload on the road.
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (proof required)
• OR time-served mechanic with at least 5 years’ full-time experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong technical background across mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work
