Bank Cardiac Physiologist - Duchy Hospital - Bank Hours. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiac professional to join the exceptional 'Team Duchy.' Following a significant investment in our cardiac catheterisation lab, including a complete refurbishment with state-of-the-art facilities and the addition of new equipment, we are expanding our services. With the addition of a new Service Manager, we invite you to be part of our journey as we continue to develop and enhance the cardiology services at Duchy Hospital.
Responsibilities
The cardiology service currently provides a range of outpatient clinics, diagnostic testing for both in-patients and outpatients, and our lab offers a range of procedures including elective angiography, PCI, device implantation, Cardioversion and Transoesophageal echocardiography.
Competence to undertake other non-invasive investigations such as stress echo, treadmill testing, and pacemaker follow-up including ILR, CRT, ICD and brady devices would be advantageous; the ability to support cath lab lists for elective angiography, PCI and device implant/explant although this is not a requirement.
* Experience in lab work and pacing would be advantageous; for full-time positions BSE accreditation is in place.
* As the team grows, CPD support will be available.
* Suitable applicants must have the ability to work under pressure and be able to work well as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
* Applicants with all levels of experience are welcome to apply; experience within lab work and pacing would be advantageous.
* BSE accreditation for full-time positions.
