DIGITAL SOLUTIONS MANAGER (Interim)

Commencing salary £73,125 per annum

We are currently seeking to appoint an interim Digital Solutions Manager to oversee and coordinate NEU’s resources for project support and delivery, including the management of the team of project and development officers and business analysts, offering coaching and guidance while ensuring ongoing professional development. This role is offered as a fixed term contract for approximately one year.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Information Systems and assume responsibility for the design and implementation of project management principles and processes, ensuring a consistent approach across the NEU. You will provide advice and support to project teams, ensuring digital and business system projects are managed effectively, including the oversight of risk, time, resources, and cost. You will also take responsibility for the ongoing development of project management tools and templates, ensuring that key decision makers have access to clear and timely information. Additionally, you will deliver project management for specific projects as required, overseeing them from planning through to delivery and the post-implementation review stage.
Prospective applicants must have a relevant degree or recognised business analyst and/or project management certification/training (or at least three years’ experience at this level in a similar role). Strong project management skills are essential, including project initiation, execution, and evaluation. Experience in managing multi-disciplinary project teams is also required.
In addition to salary, we offer good conditions including 35 days’ annual leave plus Christmas closure days and a defined benefit pension scheme. Salary and benefits are pro-rata for part time applicants.
