IT Support Assistant £27,000-£30,000 per annum plus annual performance bonus and fantastic benefits 40 hours per week, with a necessity to be available for on call duties Due to the location of the Estate, a driving license is recommended for this role Read the full job description here Take a look at our website Our IT Support Assistant The role encompasses a full range of IT Support duties to ensure the smooth running of IT across the Estate, you will liaise closely with all departments, so attention to detail and effective communication is key. The role will be varied and will cover several different responsibilities including supporting our team, visitors, and guests. We are looking for a proactive, motivated individual who is logical, diligent and relishes a challenge. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake further training, which the company will support to develop their skills and experience. Key Responsibilities: Resolve end user issues logged through our call logging system such as Microsoft Office, printer setup, VPN and shared drive access. Work closely with the IT Project Manager with hands on troubleshooting of Point of Sale, Credit Card, Music, Telephone, Fire Alarm and CCTV challenges. Setup and manage new user requests. Up to 30 days annual leave each year for our full-time team What we're looking for Needed: Education in Information Technology desirable i.e MCITP, MCSA, CCNA Minimum of 2 years prior experience in an IT support environment Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems Hands on knowledge of local area network management Good interpersonal skills Desirable: Knowledge of hospitality IT systems, including SAGE and MIRCOS Experience of Cloud-based architecture Servicing and repair of PCs and laptops Where you'll be working - Our Engineering Team The Engineering Department looks after the Companies assets &40;Buildings, IT Infrastructure, Mechanical plant, and Vehicles&41;, conducting scheduled checks and preventive maintenance in all areas of the estate. Engineering also respond to guest requests should they have issues and to colleague requests from across the estate.
