Senior Neurodiversity Practitioner - CFHD
We are excited to invite applications for our SeniorNeurodiversity Practitioner role within CFHD based in North Devon.
This is a 1.0wte permanent appointment andoffers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing theirskills in autism assessments. We will provide full training and support toensure you feel confident in conducting assessments and contributing todiagnostic outcomes. We are looking for a dynamic, kind, and proactiveindividual who is passionate about making a meaningful difference.
Main duties of the job
* To undertake high-quality autism assessments, as part of the MDT, including providing initial appointments, neurodevelopmental interviews, and ADOS assessments
* To carry out discipline-specific assessments, as appropriate, to contribute to a wider exploration of an individual's social, communication, and educational needs.
* To communicate effectively with neurodiverse children, young people and adults, families, internal and external staff
* To manage your own varied and complex caseload and to be responsible for completing clinical reports and correspondence in a timely manner.
* To work as part of the MDT to support efficient risk assessment and risk management.
* To liaise with other allied health and education professionals in order to ensure continuity of care across services and work to improve the experience of neurodiverse individuals.
* To make ongoing contributions to service development to ensure that services continue to meet the needs of those we support.
* To take part in CPD opportunities, both internally and externally.

Person Specification
Experience
* Substantial experience of managing an extensive and complex caseload.
* Working with Neurodivergent children young people.
* Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency environment.
* Experience of delivering specialist assessments.
* Experience of working within an NHS or private neurodiversity service
* Providing clinical supervision.
* Participation in user involvement in services.
Qualifications
* A professional qualification at degree level or equivalent e.g. Psychological profession, Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent.
* Professional registration/accreditation with a recognised body, e.g. NMC, HCPC, Social Work England, UKCP, BABCP
* Post graduate qualification relevant to specialism
* Formal training in ADOS / DISCO/ 3Di / ADI-R or equivalent assessment measure
