Job Overview
The Registered Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Children's Residential service. Their primary objective is to ensure the well-being and safety of young people within their care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting the home in a way that promotes the welfare of the young people, supervising and supporting staff to maintain high standards of professional care.
* Planning and implementing programmes of care and activities for individual young people, maintaining records and attending relevant meetings and care reviews.
* Enabling Young People to develop and maintain relationships with staff through consultation, reporting issues, and participating in recruitment and selection processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 qualification in Child Care, a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or be willing to complete it, along with at least 2 years Registered Management experience in a similar setting.
