Locum Reablement Occupational Therapist

3-Month Temporary Assignment (Potential Extension)
* Tripod are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Reablement Team based at County Hall, Trowbridge.
* This opportunity has arisen due to increased service demand following the successful implementation of the Home First contract.
* This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals to remain as independent as possible within their own homes and communities.
The Role
As an Occupational Therapist within the Reablement Service, you will:
* Deliver strengths-based occupational therapy assessments
* Design and implement innovative reablement plans tailored to individual needs
* Provide professional advice on equipment, adaptations, and decision-making
* Support individuals to maximise independence and reduce long-term care needs
* Manage a varied caseload across community and home settings
* Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals
This role offers flexibility and autonomy in managing your workload, with a hybrid working arrangement:
* 50% of administration time completed in the office
* Remaining time split between home working and community visits
Example:
* 3 days community visits
* 1 day office-based
* 1 day working from home
Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience
* HCPC registration
* Experience within community or reablement settings preferred
* A valid full UK driving licence and access to transport
