Housing Support Worker - Complex Needs (Agency Cover)
Location: Northampton
Contract: Temporary - Potential for Extension
Hours: Rolling 6-Week Rota | Up to 45 Hours per Week
Pay: £17-£18 per hour (via umbrella)
About the Housing Support Officer Role
You'll be part of a supportive team working within a 52-bed service supporting individuals with complex needs, such as:
Mental health conditions
Substance misuse
Ex-offending histories
Rota Details
3 days on / 3 days off (shifts up to 12 hours)
Average 39 hours per week over a 6-week cycle
3 weeks at 33 hours, 3 weeks at 45 hours
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Support Officer
Develop and update support plans
Promote independence and life skills
Provide practical and emotional support
Escort residents to medical and essential appointments
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for Housing Support Workers who:
Have experience supporting adults with complex needs
Are confident managing challenging behaviours
Have worked in supported housing or homelessness services
Are compassionate, reliable, and resilient
