As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day warehouse operations within our client's organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
* Utilising your in-depth knowledge of chemical distribution to oversee and optimise processes and procedures in the warehouse.
* Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive efficiency and productivity.
* Working closely with your team to ensure the smooth receiving, repackaging, relabelling, diluting, mixing, blending, and reshipping of products.
* Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
* Leading and motivating your team to achieve maximum performance and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A solid understanding of warehouse operations, specifically in the chemical industry.
* Previous experience in process improvement and implementing change within a warehouse environment.
* Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results.
* A commitment to health and safety best practises.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
