People and Culture Partner – Toynbee Hall

Key Responsibilities
* Strategic HR & Culture – drive initiatives that promote inclusivity, high performance and wellbeing.
* Employee Relations – support senior leaders in handling complex employee relations cases.
* Recruitment & Onboarding – lead end-to-end recruitment and design induction programmes.
* Payroll & HR Operations – manage payroll processes and ensure compliance.
* Performance, Learning & Development – oversee performance management and learning programmes.
* Wellbeing, EDI & Engagement – embed trauma-informed HR practices.
Essential Criteria
* CIPD Level 5 minimum.
* Proven track record in HR/People roles with complex employee relations experience.
* Experience managing payroll processes with high accuracy.
* Experience leading end-to-end recruitment.
* Experience designing onboarding and induction programmes.
* Experience drafting HR policies and procedures and conducting gap analysis.
* Experience supporting managers through TUPE and/or redundancy.
* Strong organisational, communication and conflict resolution skills.
* Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and commitment to inclusion and diversity.
* Experience working in a unionised environment.
* Experience in the charity/non-profit sector is preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, active listening.
