Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr Manager – Data Science and AI to deploy in‑market DS solutions in the UK, Australia & Korea and lead capability programs across international markets, including program strategy, model design, product roadmap, and delivery coordination across stakeholders. This senior role with significant influence requires strong cross‑functional leadership across country business stakeholders and Data Science & IIS teams. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment, translating business needs into clear project/program requirements and scaling in‑market and international capabilities from pilots to scalable deployments while operating within governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Accountable for delivering data science driven insights & solutions by developing and implementing models that drive brands’ strategic priorities.
* Hands‑on data scientist delivering end‑to‑end DS solutions and organizing analytical processes and workflows.
* Passion for applied empirical analytics and answering hard questions with data, with the ability to conceptualize, promote and implement business insights.
* Use advanced machine learning techniques to drive highly applied analyses and tools that directly drive revenue and optimize resources.
* Conceptualize, document, and deploy complex analytical plans to address business problems.
* Strong collaboration, executive communication, storytelling, writing, and data visualization skills with ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to senior executives.
* Self‑starter, driven, accountable, and high‑energy leader.
* Background in healthcare, Pharma, or health payments analytics highly preferred.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in analytics related area (Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline).
* 8+ years of work experience delivering analytics, data science, AI/ML, or digital/data products in a business environment, with demonstrated end‑to‑end ownership from problem framing to outcomes.
* 4+ years of hands‑on product management experience.
* Demonstrated experience translating business priorities into clear requirements and roadmaps and leading delivery across cross‑functional stakeholders (including influence without direct authority).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills: ability to distill complex analytical concepts into clear, decision‑oriented insights for technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Strong program/project management skills: ability to define scope/deliverables, manage dependencies, monitor progress, and drive implementation and adoption.
* Experience working with data and analytics ecosystems (e.g., data platforms, BI, analytics engineering) and collaborating with engineering teams to operationalize solutions.
* Ability to operate effectively in a multi‑country, international environment, partnering across regions and time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
* Experience in segmentation (customer/HCP, account, or analogous segmentation), targeting, portfolio planning, or decision support, including measurement of impact and adoption.
* Experience in developing Machine Learning based products, preferably with Large Language Models and GenAI solutions.
* Experience developing and operating analytic workflows and model pipelines that are parametrized, automated and reusable.
* Experience developing and deploying data and analytic products for use by technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Pharma & Life Science commercial functional knowledge and data literacy.
