We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. The role involves supporting clients in a residential setting.
Duties:
* Support individuals with mobility issues and provide assistance with heavy lifting when required
* Implement behaviour management strategies to support clients with challenging behaviours
* Administer medication following prescribed guidelines
* Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
* Perform first aid procedures when necessary
Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar care role is desirable
* Proficiency in behaviour management techniques
* Experience in medication administration is an advantage
* Familiarity with meal preparation for individuals with specific dietary needs
* Background in working within a mental health unit
