Aspire People are working with a welcoming Infant and Nursery School in Wisbech who are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to provide supply cover on an ad-hoc basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for early years professionals who enjoy variety and want the flexibility to choose when they work.
The Role:
As a Supply Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children within the Early Years setting. Responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher and Early Years team in delivering engaging, play-based learning
* Providing high-quality care and supervision in line with EYFS requirements
* Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development
* Assisting with observations and contributing to a nurturing learning environment
* Supervising children during indoor and outdoor provision
* Ensuring safeguarding and health and safety policies are consistently followed
Requirements:
* Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) that counts towards nursery staff ratios
* Recent experience working within a UK nursery or Early Years setting
* A sound understanding of the EYFS framework
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach
* Flexible and able to respond to short-notice bookings
