Role Overview
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and proactive Logistics & Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the smooth and efficient running of our factory operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for goods in/out, stock movement, yard organisation and supporting different departments as required. This role requires someone who is physically fit, organised, and willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
Goods In & Logistics
* Unloading and loading deliveries safely and efficiently
* Operating a forklift (we can provide training)
* Delivering goods using our extra long wheel base van
* Checking, receiving and organising incoming stock
* Moving materials between factory departments and on-site container stores
Stock & Warehouse Management
* Organising and tidying stock including cardboard boxes, foam, wool, fabric and other materials
* Ensuring container stores are kept organised and accessible
* Operating bailing machines
* Maintaining accurate stock movement where required
Factory & Production Support
* Supporting departments as needed to maintain workflow efficiency
* Packing finished products
* Cutting foam
* Marking up duvets, toppers and pillows
* Operating spray booth equipment (training provided if required)
* Assisting different departments during busy periods
General Duties
* Keeping the yard clean, tidy and safe
* Maintaining a safe working environment
* Supporting overall factory efficiency and teamwork
* Carrying out additional tasks as requested by management

* Forklift licence preferred (but we can provide training)
* Full UK driving licence required
