POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Information Technology (IT) Team, the Systems and Applications Analyst is responsible for the design, installation and support for servers and server-based applications maintained by Oxford County IT.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Post‑secondary education in Computer Science and Information Technology or related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems and productivity suites.
* Demonstrated recent experience administering Windows and Linux based servers.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
* Competent working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Entra, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of networking technologies.
* Thorough troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to take initiative, work independently, and handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
* Experience supporting Macintosh computers (laptops/workstations) (asset).
* Previous front‑line customer service experience is preferred.
* Experience supporting SCADA systems (asset).
* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (asset).
* Knowledge of relevant trends, best practices and legislation and regulations.
* An acceptable Criminal Record Check will be required.
