Home Care Assistants – Coalville & Ibstock
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our growing team in the Coalville and Ibstock areas. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their own homes and helping them to maintain independence and dignity.
The ideal candidate will be able to follow care plans confidently, communicate clearly and have the ability to drive and navigate the local area.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily living tasks
* Follow each client's individual care plan to deliver person-centred care
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency of care
* Carry out light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required
* Complete accurate daily notes and documentation, including any changes in condition
* Participate in regular training and development to continually improve care skills
About You
* Previous experience in care is helpful but not essential – full training is provided
* Ability to read and follow care plans
* Good written and spoken English
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
* Friendly, reliable and genuinely committed to supporting others
* Experience working in a care home or community setting is an advantage, but not required
