Role Overview
As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of various electrical systems across client sites. This is a mobile role, covering Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of educational sites.
* Work on a variety of electrical systems and equipment, including generators, electrical wiring, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems, as well as general electrical maintenance tasks.
* Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help improve overall facility performance and efficiency.
* Provide technical support and contribute innovative solutions to meet the specific needs of each client site, ensuring high levels of service delivery and client satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
* Relevant electrical qualifications, including City & Guilds Electrical Installation, AM2, and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* Strong working knowledge of lighting and power distribution systems.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
* Full UK driving licence (due to the mobile nature of the role).
* 2391 Test & Inspect is desirable but not essential.
