Overview
MPI Limited are looking for Burnham Lecturer Avionics to teach technical training to multi-national students with an age range of 16-35 in both classroom and aircraft hangar environments based at Cosford, Wolverhampton.
Location: Cosford, Shropshire, England. Sector: Aviation Training. Contract: Onsite, ongoing contract per customer requirements.
Note: This position is classified as being in the public sector and in scope.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Electrical & Avionics Principles and related topics to RAF FT and IDT students on a City & Guilds Level 3 Technician course.
* Teach in both classroom and aircraft hangar environments.
* Support multi-national students and ensure understanding of course material.
Qualifications
* HNC/HND/Degree in any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subject.
* Teaching experience at Level 6.
* Desirable: experience or work in a military environment.

Rate of pay will be discussed on application.
Normal working hours are 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday and 08:30 – 16:30 on Friday. There are times when candidates may be required to work outside these hours; time off in lieu will be provided if this occurs.

Security and Compliance
The successful applicant will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure at a cost of £25 and undergo an MOD BPSS Security Clearance; this will only be required at job offer stage.
