Allied Health Assistant Casual positions available Supportive team environment We are currently seeking enthusiastic Allied Health Assistants to join our team at Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale) on a casual basis. Shifts are offered across our weekday and weekend services. Do you have a commitment to teamwork and excellence in customer service delivery? Do you want to provide clinical and administrative assistance to Allied Health Professionals to ensure the delivery of a high-quality rehabilitation service? If so, we want to hear from you! As an Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include: Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care to patients/significant others Working under the direction and supervision of allied health clinicians, including physiotherapists & occupational therapists, to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals Healthscope’s 'Victorian Rehabilitation Hospitals' encompass two rehabilitation facilities located across the Melbourne Metropolitan region: Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale) and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre (Glen Waverley). Our programmes have a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties. Our sites offer a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. Selection Criteria: Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or current physiotherapy/occupational therapy student Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Experience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting and/or a basic understanding of therapy programs Why Healthscope?
