Your impact
As the BI Product Owner, you will play a key role in supporting data-informed decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders and the BI team, you will help shape and prioritise the development of BI solutions, contribute to system design, coordinate tasks and processes, and support the delivery of impactful data insights.
Responsibilities
* Product Vision and Roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into a clear vision for the BI product roadmap
* Define and prioritise key objectives for BI solutions, aligning them with the overall business strategy
* Backlog Management, Task Management and Process Definition: Work collaboratively with the BI team to prioritize backlog items based on business impact, feasibility, and alignment with the product vision
* Work with and improve existing agile methodologies to manage effectively the BI development process for task delegation, progress tracking, and change management
* Team Leadership and Collaboration: Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to the BI team, providing guidance and mentoring
* Communication and Stakeholder Management: Articulate the value proposition of BI solutions to diverse and senior stakeholders translating complex data into clear and actionable insights
* Present product roadmaps, progress reports, and key findings to leadership and stakeholders
* Performance Measurement and Improvement: Define and track KPIs to measure the usage and effectiveness of BI solutions; Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimization strategies
What you'll need
* Experience as a product owner, business analyst or similar role, ideally within a BI context
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
* Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques
* Knowledge of data science and AI concepts
