Apply Now About the role Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a Fleet Hub Manager to join our Asses& Technology Solutions (ATS) team based in Derby, however there will be travel involved, as such the successful applicant will need hold a valid driving licence. Within this role you'll lead and efficiently manage the Fleet Customer Support Services teams, bringing together the Breakdown Service Desk and Fleet Allocations teams to support the customer What you'll be doing As a Fleet Hub Manager you'll Lead the Service Desk Breakdown Team. Lead the Fleet Allocations Team. Ensure a relentless focus on safety through the Zero Harm initiative. Ensure a continual focus on Customer Service. Support the delivery of the BBATS Sustainability agenda. Develop and manage relationships with the external supply chain; robustly challenge the cost base to improve competitive advantage. Ensure (all functions) have clear deliverables, ensuring compliance through weekly & monthly KPI reporting. Undertake regular staff briefings (weekly and monthly), typically relating to safety updates, business news, customer feedback etc. as and when necessary. Support the Business Manager to ensure that the Fleet Team develops close working relationships with BBATS customers and collaborates effectively with the Fleet Delivery team to deliver a seamless service. Be aware of industry best practice and innovation and ensure that a culture of innovation and continuous improvement is engrained across the team. Who we're looking for The role requires substantial service experience ideally from within the Fleet sector. A capable person-manager, able to develop and coach their team and address HR issues promptly and robustly. Capable of communicating ideas and concepts effectively to both their immediate team and their respective line manager. The individual needs to be able to set, deliver and measure clear targets across their team, must have a commercial acumen and a robust appreciation of their market sector - they must know and understand "what good looks like".
