Overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated lecturer of English to join our experienced team of well-qualified and extremely dedicated staff. The successful candidate will teach their key specialism of Functional Skills and GCSE English, whilst providing consistently excellent education and training that inspires all learners and builds their confidence and curiosity in the classroom. Your learners will develop as people, with the skills they need to succeed and thrive in life and employment.
You will have a keen awareness of recent developments within English curricula and possess the skills to motivate and inspire learners who find English to be a challenge, through exciting and innovative lessons. The Re-sit English curriculum covers qualifications from Entry level 3 up to GCSE level English Language.
Responsibilities
* Teach Functional Skills and GCSE English to learners, providing consistently excellent education and training that inspires learners and builds confidence and curiosity in the classroom.
* Motivate and inspire learners who find English challenging through exciting and innovative lessons.
* Contribute to a curriculum that covers Re-sit English qualifications from Entry level 3 to GCSE English Language.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience as a lecturer of English with awareness of recent developments within English curricula.
* Ability to motivate and inspire learners and to deliver engaging lessons.
* Safeguarding commitment; Enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks will be undertaken for all successful candidates.
