Job Description
The Paralegal role is a key position responsible for supporting and safeguarding the Group’s legal and compliance activities, working closely with the Group’s various support departments and all affiliates. This position reports directly to the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary.
Main Responsibilities
Corporate and M&A Support
* Provide corporate housekeeping and support to Group entities, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
* Offer administrative support for Group corporate transactions (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capital increases, etc.), including maintaining and populating data rooms.
* Manage and monitor document execution, notarisation, and apostilles.
Intellectual Property Support
* Handle the administrative management of the Group’s intellectual property portfolio.
Internal Projects – Transformation
* Coordinate and support internal projects led by the Legal and Compliance Department.
* Insurance
* Provide administrative support for managing the insurance portfolio, including claims handling.
* Assist with insurance renewals and coordinate required data collection across the Group.
Governance
* Ensure governance compliance for all relevant transactions.
* Coordinate the issuance of Powers of Attorney (PoAs) in line with the Group’s governance framework.
General Responsibilities
* Support the Group General Counsel in monitoring departmental costs, budget management, and invoice processing.
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and governance frameworks.
* Draft documents (letters, PoAs, etc.) and contribute to internal process development within the Legal Department.
* Manage and monitor document execution, notarisation, and apostilles.
* Organize meetings and events, and manage the Group General Counsel’s calendar.
* Regularly update legal reporting tools, procedures, and policies (e.g., governance policies, Delegations of Authority, list of Group companies, intragroup agreements, etc.).
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a paralegal in a law firm and/or international company.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments in an international environment.
* Fluency in English; a second language (preferably German) is an advantage.
* Confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels and across nationalities.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Responsiveness and ability to prioritise effectively.
* Excellent writing and synthesis skills.
Strong interpersonal skills (listening, diplomacy, communication, and teamwork).
