About the Role We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Frome, Somerset. This is an on-site role working a fixed day shift: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–13:00. In this role, you will support manufacturing operations by monitoring, evaluating and improving processes using Lean methodologies. You’ll resolve production stoppages caused by process or equipment issues through hands-on problem solving and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. What You Will Do Improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs and support projects that enhance performance and safety. How You Will Do It Apply Lean and problem-solving tools to eliminate persistent issues. Identify, plan and execute capital improvement projects. Develop standard operating procedures and control documentation. Work with process owners and stakeholders to deliver change through teamwork. Completed electrical apprenticeship OR multi-skilled engineer with clear electrical bias. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and diagrams. LEAN manufacturing / continuous improvement. Understanding of PLC-controlled systems. Self-motivated; able to manage workload, identify issues and propose solutions. Strong problem-solving skills. Project management experience advantageous but not essential. Occasional UK & European travel may be required. Ready to make an impact?
