Operating at 20 locations across the UK, North Air provides into-plane refuelling and storage services on behalf of major oil companies. The role has a start date of 2nd February 2026, with in-person interviews planned on 14th/15th October 2025.
The role holder is accountable to the Regional Operations Manager and is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the fuel farm and refuelling services at the airport, in line with industry and North Air standards and policies.
Role and responsibilities
The Site Manager will:
* implement, achieve and deliver business strategy and objectives to meet customer expectations in line with Company Values and within set budgets
* manage the Health and Safety of the Fuel Farm and all North Air employees on site
* have direct line management responsibility for 17 staff including a Supervisor and an Operations Assistant
* maintain key relationships with 3rd parties on the airfield
* be available out of hours for emergency situations and travel to Inverness regularly

Skills and experience
* Minimum of 5 years operational experience in a management or supervisory role in Distribution, Aviation or a related business
* Strong interpersonal and people management skills
* Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team
* Good understanding of budgets and cost control
* Good practical problem solving and common sense
* Ability to communicate and engage effectively with all stakeholders
* Previous Airfield experience
* HGV Driving license
