Overview


Gallagher Re are seeking to recruit a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Latin America and Caribbean Service Team in a Broker Support role based in Ipswich!

You will be providing support to Producers, Brokers and Junior Broker colleagues in servicing our clients.


How you'll make an impact

* Compile templates to send to global offices to provide information and check the information received back is accurate
* Review market security information on carriers, checking compliance and financial positions
* Build / update marketing sheets for Broking Team
* Produce data and statistics in support of the placement of a client’s reinsurance programme
* Liaise with Compliance / Sanctions Team on sanctions checks where touch points exist
* Effectively connect with various stakeholders, both internal and external
* Work with Sales Team, including Junior Brokers, to ensure effective delivery of client service to clients
* Monitor creation of slips / endorsements
* Checking files to ensure all information is present and accurate
* Ensure contract records and workflow items are accurately maintained within transactional broking system
* Generate accounting entries and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions
* Review and interrogate reinsurance contracts to facilitate billing within agreed timescales
* Handle and resolve queries from clients and reinsurers
* Ensure compliance with Gallagher Re policies and Client Excellence Model (CEM) throughout the placement process
* Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales
* Maintain files in an orderly manner electronically, ensuring these are within CEM guidelines

About You

* Educated to A level standard
* Willingness to study or already achieved CII qualification
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Attention to detail
* Ability to organise and prioritise workloads with good time management skills
* Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office suite)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Fluency in Spanish essential
* Eligible to work in the UK
