Role Description
Based in our Pontefract office, you will work on a variety of civil and structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. After successfully completing your probationary period, you will have the option to transition to a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake structural analysis and design across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
* Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports
* Assist with site inspections, surveys, and assessments
* Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to deliver high‑quality project outcomes
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders as required
* Minimum 2.5 years’ industry experience in a civil or structural engineering role
* BSc in Civil Engineering or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
* Must have completed a structural engineering module at university
* Strong understanding of UK design codes and standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and report‑writing skills
* Experience with structural design software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, AutoCad, Tekla Structural Designer, etc.)
* Progress toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng)
