A welcoming and energetic primary school in Wood Green is seeking a passionate Sports Coach to join their team full-time with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children and is committed to promoting physical activity, teamwork, and confidence through sport.
You will play a key role in developing pupils’ physical skills, resilience, and enjoyment of healthy competition across the school.
The Role
Delivering engaging PE lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Leading structured sports sessions during curriculum time
Organising and supporting lunchtime and after-school sports clubs
Promoting teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour through sport
Supporting school sports days, competitions, and enrichment activities
Working closely with class teachers and senior staffThe Ideal Candidate
✔ Experience coaching sports with primary-aged children
✔ A background in sports coaching, sports science, or physical education
✔ Confident managing groups and maintaining high energy sessions
✔ Strong behaviour management and communication skills
✔ Relevant coaching qualifications (desirable but not essential)
✔ A positive role model who motivates and inspires young learners
