Ideally suited for a local person who would like to learn on the job.\n\nWe care for children aged 6 weeks up to 5 years old, you will become part of a well established team who will support you through your modern apprenticeship. In this role you will be part of a team supporting the health and wellbeing of all children in our care. You will undertake an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services: Children & Young People. You will develop knowledge on how to support children with a wide range of needs and gain practical experience of how to support personal care needs. You will learn how to successfully plan for childrenâs learning and how to support them through play. You will learn about the importance of building good relationships with children and their families. Suitable candidate would be required to have basic English and mathematic skills. We require an enthusiastic person who has a love for learning new skills, you must have a passion for working with children. Good communication skills are a must. You will be required to apply for PVG membership as well as SSSC membership which we will support you with.
