This is an ideal opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with a passion for SEND to work with students with a range of complex needs on a permanent, full-time basis. The school caters to children aged 11-16 years with complex SEMH, ASC and associated needs.
Split across distinct areas within the school, to ensure individual needs are met, the school offers small class sizes of max. 6 pupils, with approx. 36 pupils within the school. The personalised approach to learning means individual learning plans are in place, with a high ratio of staff to ensure optimum support can be implemented.
A major (and rare!) benefit within education, this friendly school does not pro-rata salaries based on term-times and holidays, meaning you will be paid 100% of the salary in full! Set nearby local amenities, with easy parking, this is a school that cares about staff wellbeing. In return, the school expects dedication to make a prolonged difference to the lives of their students, with consistency and stability being a primary focus.
Experience working with SEND children is desirable. L2/3 TA qualification is also beneficial, but not essential - passion and dedication to supporting children with complex additional needs is most important.
