The PCCs and Patrons are seeking a prayerful, pastoral, and outward-looking priest to serve as Team Rector for our seven villages, set in a beautiful countryside context with deep roots in local community life.
Each church has its own character and history, and we are united by a shared commitment to worship, service, and mission. Together, we value collaborative ministry, good humour, and a strong sense of belonging — across generations and traditions.
S/he will
* have a heart for rural ministry and an appreciation of village life
* be committed to a strong Safeguarding culture
* be enthusiastic about work with children, young people and families, both in schools and in church
* be confident in leading worship across a range of traditions within the Church of England
* value collaboration, working closely with clergy colleagues, lay leaders, PCCs, and volunteers
* have a desire to encourage growth in faith and discipleship, while cherishing what already exists
* be secure in an Inclusive Church setting
We offer a warm Christian welcome to an area where the churches are a part of the traditions of the area but we know there are opportunities for further growth and service. It would help if you liked brass bands. We are world famous for those!
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 28th April.
