Job Introduction
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Controller to join our VW Dealership in Coventry. Hours of work are 08:00 - 18:00, Monday to Fridays and Saturdays on a rota basis.
Excellent Basic Salary with OTE of up to £44,000 plus car & benefits.
The Workshop Manager is responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in the workshop, liaising between Service Advisors and Technicians, ensuring that all required work is actioned effectively and efficiently.
Description
1. Managing the workflow of all jobs to brand standard.
2. Manage a team of Technicians ensuring workflow through the workshop is done in an efficient and effective manner.
3. Provide focused management to the service department team, to ensure an excellent customer experience.
4. Ensure processes are always adhered to.
5. Conduct regular process reviews with your Aftersales Manager to identify operational issues / discrepancies and ensure appropriate follow up actions are taken to rectify.
6. Manage the performance of the workshop to ensure that KPI targets are achieved.
7. Manage and plan workshop / support resources to ensure that work requirements are fulfilled.
8. Support the department team as required and ensure that all work is completed on time.
