Milk Education is looking for caring and committed Learning Support Assistants to support students in a mainstream secondary school in Southport. This role is perfect for experienced LSAs or graduates looking to start a career in education via our graduate scheme.
What You’ll Do:
1. Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for students with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs
2. Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential
3. Assist teachers with tailored lessons and interventions
4. Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
5. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
What We’re Looking For:
6. Experience in a school support role or interest in starting your education career (graduates welcome!)
7. Understanding of supporting pupils with SEN/SEMH or additional needs
8. Confidence working with secondary‑aged students
9. Excellent communication, patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive
