Location: Holmewood, Chesterfield
Pay Rate: £12.21 – £13.77 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting a Machine Operator to join a growing company based in Holmewood. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering the chance to work with specialist production equipment in a supportive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Setting up and operating various production lines, including completing pre-start checks and paperwork
* Weighing and preparing ingredients (powders and liquids)
* Loading mixers and managing process timings
* Testing product quality and accurately recording results
* Controlling machinery for transfer, depositing, and finishing of products
* Following all food safety (BRCGS) and health & safety guidelines at all times
* Cleaning equipment and production areas after production runs
* Working collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets
Requirements
* Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry
* Hands-on experience operating production or plant machinery
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures
* Reliable, confident, and proactive approach to work
* Good awareness of health & safety and food hygiene requirements
