Position Summary Harness is looking for a FinOps champion who is as passionate about building the next great software company as they are about assisting customers in optimizing their cloud costs and helping sales teams succeed. This person will be the domain expert that sales teams leverage to engage with customers in sales opportunities and will be critical in driving Harness’s growth. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to leverage subject-matter expertise to fuel the growth of a specific product line while working closely with the cross-functional executive team. About the role Be the domain expert for FinOps focused sales opportunities and for helping enterprises succeed with their cloud cost optimization strategies Assist sales in account planning, discovery, pipeline acceleration and ongoing customer success Build & deliver FinOps workshops to accelerate opportunity velocity to help speed opportunities to close Help sales exceed their number and win new enterprise logos Develop and deliver enablement for the Harness GTM ecosystem Provide feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams based on learnings from the field Be data driven - including using Salesforce and other tools to track impact of your work Collaborate closely with other teams, including product management, product marketing, sales engineering, and sales development About you 5 years of FinOps experience in practitioner, technical, sales, or other relevant roles Solid understanding of FinOps practices, cloud cost management and the relationship between FinOps, engineering and other stakeholder groups required to successfully transform and mature a FinOps practice within an enterprise Ability to effectively influence C-Level, IT, and business personas Ability to explain complex concepts simply to a range of audiences Excel working in a team environment Proven consultative business skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment Bachelors Degree or equivalent Willing to travel regularly (20%- 40%) Work Location This is a hybrid role (remote travel local client engagement) Preferred Locations: London Office (2-3x a week) What you will have at Harness Competitive salary Comprehensive healthcare benefits Flexible Time Off and Parental Leave Quarterly Harness TGIF-Off / 4 days Monthly, quarterly, and annual social and team-building events Monthly internet reimbursement Harness in the news: Harness Grabs a $150m Line of Credit Welcome Split!
