Job Description
We are recruiting for Class 2 LGV C Drivers at our Skelmersdale Depot within the Mller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a reputable logistics company, operating a modern, well-maintained fleet. We offer full-time schedules with no overnight stays. Successful candidates will have the chance to upskill to Class 1 through our in-house driver training academy after 13 weeks.

* Rate of Pay:
Day shifts:
* Monday - Friday: £15.08
* Saturday: £16.97
* Sunday: £22.62
Night shifts:
* Monday - Friday: £17.22
* Saturday: £19.39
* Sunday: £25.84
Overtime:
* Days: £16.97
* Nights: £19.39
Role & Responsibilities
* Transport milk from farms to various sites, ensuring safety, timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety regulations.
* Prioritize safety and respect all road users.
* Complete driver and vehicle checks diligently.
* Plan routes considering safety restrictions, road works, and traffic for efficiency.
* Maintain professionalism as the interface between the business and customers.
Key Skills & Experience
* HGV Class 2 Licence (LGV Cat C)
* Current CPC and digital driving card
* No more than 6 minor points (no CDs, DDs, DRs, INs)
* Minimum 12 months experience
* Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role
* Team player with initiative, reliability, and a positive attitude
