Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced MSK Podiatrist to join a specialist practice in Central London, treating a diverse caseload from elite athletes to active individuals. Salary: circa £35,000. Full-time.
The Role
* Conduct comprehensive biomechanical assessments and video gait analysis
* Design and fit custom foot orthoses
* Manage complex foot and ankle injuries including Achilles tendinopathy, plantar heel pain, and adult acquired flat foot
* Fit and manage Richie Braces (AFO) for ankle pathologies
* Work collaboratively with consultants, sports medicine doctors, and physiotherapists
* Treat conditions including hypermobility disorders, rheumatological conditions, and sports injuries
Essential
* HCPC registered Podiatrist
* Experience in MSK podiatry and biomechanics
* Strong gait analysis and orthotic prescription skills
* Excellent communication and patient-centered approach
Desirable
* Postgraduate training in MSK/sports medicine
* Experience with athletes
* Richie Brace fitting experience
