Infrastructure Engineer Salisbury | Hybrid (largely on-site) | £50,000–£55,000 + bonus up to 15%
This role sits inside a fast-growing UAV business operating at the sharp end of the defence and aerospace space.

You’ll join a small but capable IT team supporting an engineering-heavy organisation, with infrastructure that is predominantly on-prem, including secure and air-gapped environments. The work is hands‑on, broad, and varied. It's ideal for someone who enjoys owning systems rather than just maintaining them.
What you’ll be involved in
* Deploying and supporting on‑prem infrastructure (servers, networks, storage)
* Supporting Windows and Linux environments
* Virtualisation and containerisation (Hyper‑V, Docker)
* WAN / LAN, switches, firewalls, VPNs
* Identity and access services (Active Directory, Entra)
* Backup, recovery, DR testing and capacity planning
* Supporting engineering and business applications (CAD, Jira, GitLab, document management)
* Maintaining documentation and supporting security accreditations
You’ll work closely with the Infrastructure Lead and wider IT team, helping ensure systems remain secure, resilient and fit for a defence environment as the business grows.
