A leading organisation in the housing sector is seeking an Interim Project Accountant to support a period of transformation within its finance function. This role will suit a qualified or QBE accountant with recent project management experience and a strong background in driving financial process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead reviews of financial systems, reporting, and budgeting processes
* Scope requirements for a new finance system
* Support automation and improvement of statutory and management accounts workflows
* Deliver training and documentation for updated processes
* Enhance BI reporting and budget monitoring
Candidate Profile:
* Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven experience in finance transformation or systems implementation
* Strong Excel and automation skills (e.g. Power Automate, VBA)
* Confident working with stakeholders across functions
